NASCAR Driver reminds fans ‘if you bought it, a trucker brought it’
A driver competing in the NASCAR cup series this weekend is using the spotlight to remind the public to ‘Thank A Trucker’ in honor of National Truck Driver Appreciation Week.
Quin Hoff will be driving the StarCom Racing #00 Chevy Camaro at the Richmond Raceway in Virginia, honoring truck drivers with custom graphics plastered across the hood and sides of the race car that read: “Thank A Trucker. If you bought it, a trucker brought it.”
Hoff says he comes from a family deeply rooted in the trucking industry, so he understands the sacrifices drivers make, especially in times like these, to keep the stores stocked.
In addition to the “Thank a Trucker” stickers, Quin’s car will feature Lynchburg Ready Mix, a Central Virginia concrete supplier and Excel Truck Group, a family owned company that has been in operation for over 35 years.
“We applaud StarCom Racing and driver Quin Houff for the special “Thank You Truckers” paint scheme they are running in the Federated Auto Parts 400 this weekend at Richmond Raceway,” said Dale Bennett, President & CEO of the Virginia Trucking Association said to WBTV News.
“As part of one of Virginia’s oldest trucking families, Quin understands how hard our professional truck drivers have worked on the frontline to keep Virginia and the nation supplied with the goods we need during the COVID-19 pandemic,” Bennett added.
